A girl in an agency trying to survive a dystopian world full of strange entities!

Background

Elise is a girl that works for the Monster Hunter and Human Protective Services (MHHPS). They fight monsters at night to keep the city safe. Nobody knows of these monsters except the MHHPS and government. Why, you ask? There is a lockdown every night, meaning you cannot go outside. Monsters only come out at night, and they dont even come into the city since there is a border around the city. MHHPS agencies fight out in the forest. There are multiple agencies across the world, and they all fight to keep everyone safe. You can learn more about the worldbuilding here.

Story

Elise is the main character for Veiled War. She works with multiple people. Some of them are rookie monster hunters like her. She and 3 other members decided to go out at night without their leaders permission to fight monsters so they could impress their leader. While fighting monsters, they came across a very odd human. However, it wasnt human at all. Something felt off about it and it attacked them. They attacked back because they realized it was a monster. For some reason though, this entity went into the city, a place where they werent supposed to go for obvious reasons. It became very destructive and tore up the town while the rookie monster hunters fought in the city, failing to lead them back towards the forest. They accidentally let it get away and now they are left with a city that looked like a tornado ran through it. They left, not knowing what to do except tell their leader. While doing that, A MHHPS member from a different agency reported them for vandalism. Why would they do that if they were allies? They get sued and now their agency loses privileges to fight monsters. What will they do knowing a monster theyve never seen before is on the loose? Why did their ally report them for vandalism?
